While some have praised the authenticity and delicious flavors of the Vietnamese cuisine, others have been disappointed by the value for money and service received. The restaurant's pho has been highlighted as exceptional, with some diners comparing it favorably to what they have had in Vietnam. Despite mixed reviews on the overall dining experience, the restaurant continues to attract both loyal patrons and newcomers looking for a taste of Vietnam in Victoria.
Food was excellent. 4 star for the long wait when there was only 3 tables waiting for food. I guess if they had extra help in the kitchen it would've been 5 star for me. Would come back again
Very attentive staff and clean establishment upstairs. Food came out quickly and very hot. Great flavours and good portions. Tried the mild seafood hotpot could have done medium easily mild had a hint of spice The fried rice had a uniqueflavour profile with lots extras not just a pile of rice with a few veggies and meat hiding within . The Vietnamese coffee wasgreat but comes with a paper straw totally forgot my metal straws! Prices are decent as you get a good amount of food $15 orless a dish . Basement, where bathrooms are located, is a bit damp smelling and bathrooms, while clean, weren't what I wouldhave expected. Since there are quite a few staora, not great for anyone with mobility issues.
Ok we love small restaurants but discovered this is the oldest Vietnamese restaurant on the Island after we raved about the food to the waitress! Truly authentic, don't judge by it's look, go in and enjoy some delicious Vietnamese food (the seafood curry was delicious as was the spicy beef pho!)!
This is a family restaurant with mom in the kitchen and the daughter waiting on tables. The food was nicely prepared with some interesting choices. The spicy soup is different from the usual pho.
Came here last week with friends on a short trip to Victoria, decided to dine here as the reviews were great and the menu had something to suit all our needs! The food itself was beautiful, well presented, giant in portion size and so very moreish! Each one of our party commented on how even a third of the way through we were full, but given how good it was we just had to keep going! The drinks were also wonderful and very well priced! They had a lychee cocktail on special, I've never enjoyed a cocktail more than I did that one! I would highly recommend this place, the only shame was that it wasn't busier! It certainly deserved to be!
