Contribute FeedbackOcean Garden, located in a prime spot in Chinatown, serves average Cantonese food with subpar service. Diners complained of slow service, poorly prepared dishes, and lackluster flavors. However, some customers found the food delicious, the service friendly, and prices reasonable. Despite some mixed reviews, Ocean Garden remains a popular choice for North American Chinese cuisine, offering classics like Breaded Almond Chicken and Wor Wonton Soup. While not the best, the consistent quality and nostalgic dishes keep customers coming back for more. Overall, Ocean Garden earns a solid 4-star rating for its comfort food and efficient service.
The food eaten by people on other tables looked delicious and inspiring. huge bowls of broth, vegetables, fish, shellfish and meat. my friend had the special almond chicken greasy, sweet and sour pigs a bit sweet, and noodle pretty well. there is nothing to eat when they are a true vegetarian.
Because it was crowded on this joint, decided to order and pick food. ordered a nudel piece and a die fried rice with huh. the order back to the hotel and the nudel had no chicken and tons or oil, and there was no rice and it was egg fried noodles. it wasn't even busy, and the guy didn't even draw attention to what we ordered. never go to this place. find a Thai restaurant.
Ordered dinner for 6 for my man birthday. eating looked very bland, inconspicuous. not enough food for 6 people. the garnels were boiled, that my was a lump moss. dinner had no taste. very disappointed and will never go...back we gave the dog the food.
If we always enjoy in victoria to fall at this place. eating is fresh, hot and delicious. the friendly service and the ability to meet the food restrictions is great.
Generously sized portions and flavourful dishes. Good service and conveniently located. Beef hot pot was very nice. Good solid Chinese food.
