This restaurant has a unique setting just outside of the Military History Museum. We came here for lunch before visiting the museum itself. We were here on a nice day and basically everyone, including us, chose the patio, which is in a large atrium of sorts. Our service was friendly and spoke excellent English. The food was typical Austrian traditional fare and was well prepared. I wouldn't go out of my way to come h... View all feedback.
What Steve-and-Andie doesn't like about ARSENALSTUBEN:
Pleasant outdoor seating area in the courtyard. Delicious food, just a little too much salt for my liking. Good size portions at a reasonable price. Service could have been better as our starters never arrived but weren’t charged for them. View all feedback.
Was it the summer time? helping, practicing? na, at least we wanted to eat in the shaded farm garden. 4 tables of about 10 are occupied. the (young) waitress says in passing, "I'll come to them." Actually, she comes without bringing the menu. we order from the bar: 2 drinks, 2 meals. After a short time she asks again what we had ordered. good, the time passes, this can take time at this utilisation: locally inns completely empty, in the garden 12 guests. oh, drinks are there, soon the pork is coming for my friend, but my food is put up with another hospitable, but he does not want to have it and lets it stand in spite of it. there appears the chefin, which usually serves the food itself, explains to me that my order was misconducted, it will take a little. I actually got to eat after a quarter of an hour. at both foods was listed in the menu "with salat", but we never got to see. I guess the full price was charged. After that was not tasted to my friend, my panzerotti, on the other hand, were very good, we were delighted to give very little drinking money without complaining to us. but: there we are no longer going!
Facility is nice and service friendly. the food is not worth a second visit:The oriental salate was a green salate with sauces. the gulasch juice was from the dose. the dessert was also forgotten. gives many much better alternatives in the opposite.
Were there in the evening. the card is quite small, there is home cooking, mostly fried, does not taste very fresh.
On the recommendation of the employee from the hgm we went to the arsenals tubes. The local is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pork medals were very tasty with the pfeffers sauce and the croquets. The cordon bleu and the wobble pink roasts were also very good.Only dessert there were also very tasty floury happy again.
Hidden away at the Arsenal is a small restaurant with traditional Austrian fare. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and in good sized portions. I had a farmers' Cordon Blau with a sweetish potato salad.
