Absolutely amazing steaks, It's totally worth a journey from Ponta Delgada. One of the best (if not the best) steak I've ever eaten. Restaurant looks very local, far from fancy but don't be fooled top quality food. There were two thicknesses of steak to choose, I went for a thicker one. View all feedback.
Everything was reserved, but we arrived early and the waiter made room for us and gave us a quick meal, very nice. Good food for what is on the island Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–15 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Awesome meal. Huge portions- very friendly staff and excellent steaks. We got a bit confused finding the place and finding parking- but scorpion is definitely worth a visit!
Great steak and traditional Azores sides of rice, fries, egg.and salad. Steak had excellent flavor and cooked to perfect”medium” as requested, As expected, slightly chewier grass fed beef. Service was prompt and waiter answered all our questions.
We got to the restaurant a bit earlier than their open time, but they gladly seated us and advised that the kitchen will open soon. The waiter was very friendly and spoke a bit English to translate some of the menu items we weren’t familiar with. We ended up ordering fish, liver, and steak. Portions were huge considering all additional side dishes, so we even ended up taking some home. Food was delicious. And all of this was very cheap. Would recommend.
