I own my own business and my business partner and I eat there every Wednesday. The food is very good, and the tea is excellent, until that changes we'll see you guys Wednesday. Oh yeah, my family and I eat there often as well. View all feedback.
What JESSICA doesn't like about El Conquistador:
Worst Tex-Mex I've ever had. Burnt chips, bad enchiladas, bad quesadilla, and awful tortilla soup. The chicken for my quesadilla was at least a day old. It was gross, dry and overdone. The waitress was curt and too busy.1/10 do not recommend. View all feedback.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was very impressed with the food. However, I was a bit disappointed with the Chile Con Carne as it was lighter in color and lacked meat. In Oklahoma and Arkansas, our Con Carne is usually dark, juicy, and filled with spiced ground beef. Our waitress was excellent. The Margaritas were not very good and tasted more like a lime slushy. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
Fajitas for two our favorite of all.for a special romantic meal at home. Thanks ya'll!Food: 4/5
Two out of eight guests suffered from vomiting and diarrhea 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant. This may have been caused by soap residue on dishes or bacteria on the tableware. The atmosphere was okay and the server did a decent job. However, due to obvious health concerns, we will not be returning to this restaurant. Our rating for the food is 1 out of 5.
Every Friday, my wife and I go to El Conquistador for lunch. The food is DELICOUS and the service is great. No matter who we get to serve us, they are always greeting with a friendly smile.Food: 5/5
