Warners at the Bay - WARNERS BAY

I have visited here 3 times now and am yet to find a major fault.

My partner and I ended up here as we had been told a 45min wait for food at a cafe nearby after seating ourselves at an uncleared table.

This gem is along the strip at Warners Bay and boasts some great news clips of their success, and rightly so.

Despite living close by and retired, we haven’t been there in years for lunch. Went with two out of town friends. Decor was nice, bistro food was good, about 4 out of 5. Prices were depending on choice. Bistro Manager came out to see if we were happy with meals, which we were. Having said all that, I doubt we will be back any time soon. They have indoor and outdoor tables. We have two little cavoodles (who were not with us at this time) and asked if in the future we could bring them on leash and utilise the back outdoor tables. There is a back gate to that area. The answer was no, unless they are registered care dogs. Seems like a wasted opportunity by management to me to tap into a large group of potential customers who are always looking for pet friendly venues. Oh well, back to Belmont or Boolaroo pubs or local cafes that are outside pet friendly.

I don't know how this place gets a 4.1 rating. We went for the food, and was that bad we couldn't eat it! I love my takeaway and pub feeds, but never had a feed I couldn't eat before... fish overcooked, too oily, pub squash was WATERED down, chips were well overdone. Tartare was shhitte, and Diane sauce was shhhiitteee. One of the male staff even made a comment about how bad the food was. Just wow. Never returning here again!!! (Thanks for the reply I can't respond to on here. Never said it was today guys or lunch. Was Sunday night if you like to check your tickets)
