Cascade Cafe - Washington

Good place, but you have to wait a long time for your order and women's restroom not clean.

Good enough for a tourist park cafe. Especially once you've walked what feels like a billion miles and need to take a load off! Flatbreads and sandwiches are adequate scones and eclairs are delicious!

I was quite surprised at this café when we found it. It's in an amazing location and the prices aren't bad either. You can sit outside while looking at the gardens or the National Archives building as you ponder pretending to be Nicolas Cage to steal the Declaration of Independence whilst eating a salad. The salads are average but it was good enough for me to find something nearby while walking around so much. There is currently no indoor seating due to covid. Social distancing is still enforced.

The Hawaiian Chicken Club was delicious, it was cheap and it was healthy. The club comes accompanied either by chips or a salad and I'm glad I chose the salad, it really blends perfectly with the flavors of the sandwich. I really loved this breakfast. It was just what my body needed for a tour around the city. The Pavilion Café is located at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden.

Really great food! There was a long wait during rush hour on a weekend but it is normal. I highly recommend the Chicken Flatbread, it was amazing! Outside it was really hot, but the view was great. You can also sit inside the restaurant. I am probably in the background of some peoples photos while they were taking pics of that tree lol
