What User doesn't like about Fish & Chippery:
We ordered and paid for 2 pots of peppermint tea for a total of $9. First we were told there was no peppermint so we could choose from other selections. I said I didn't like any of the others and miraculously peppermint was found. I asked for a kettle to be boiled rather than using tepid water from the coffee machine. We ordered a large serving of fries for $9.00, which was ridiculously small for the price. This was a disappointing experience.
Had an early dinner of calamari and chips. great tasting calamari. presented with wood knives and forks, tomato sauce, salt and pfeffersachets and containers by aioli.
Great fish and chips. would have visited doyle for years, this place is so much better because of the quality of the fish.
The coffee was perfect and the friendly staff provided excellent service. The food was delicious and it's not surprising considering the restaurant is connected to a beach club.
Ordered paid for food drinks at the bar ....unfortunately the food order was completely stuffed up I was kept standing there like a goose for ages to explain what I've ordered with no receipt to prove it. The staff are busy and...rushed and they don't have much time for you if anything goes wrong. The food was fresh good though. Not sure if I'd come back at a busy time
