What User doesn't like about Evelyn's Sandwich Factory:
Very small establishment with limited sit-in options. During the summer, I would suggest getting the food to go and find a park near the canal to eat your meal. Hot and cold sandwich option with whatever you want on it. View all feedback.

Recommended by our B & B hosts we checked it out on our arrival to Welland. We were not disappointed. Very reasonable prices. Mains (several meats and multiple choices, more than 1 per sandwich, choice of several fresh breads/buns, choice of lettuce tomatoes etc if desired, and any condiments you can think of.)Right next to the canal at the big bridge. Great taste. Enjoy you sandwich. We enjoyed ours.
I'm pregnant and was craving a sandwich. I heard good things about this place so naturally, I was eager to try. Small place in an old building. Upon entry, I noticed the place was small. No big deal, I was ordering to go, anyways. Looking further, I noticed the air conditioning unit was pouring water all over the floor near the food prep area. Alert #1. Ladies were friendly, and directed me on how to order. While waiting, I noticed no one wore gloves or washed their hands between making sandwiches. They were touching all sorts of things. Cash, pens, doors, their glasses. Etc. Alert #2. I was really turned off. When the one lady was packing my sandwich, I noticed her licking her finger to get a bag to put my sandwich in! Alert#3! Disgusting. I paid for the sandwich ...a little pricy for a sandwich and she handed me my change and I prepared to exit when I noticed she never washed her hands while attending to the next customer. I was so turned off I ended up throwing my $8.50 sandwich in the garbage. Cleanliness is so important when dealing with the public. What a disappointment. I was really liking forward to a good sandwich. It looked nice, though and the concept was good. Too bad proper hygiene isn't their priority.
Have visited a couple of times. If you want a great fresh sandwich with lots of choices, this is the place. Fresh soups also!
