Golden Up Chinese Restaurant

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! We have eaten here multiple times and it never disappoints. I give it a 5 for the food and a 4 for the service, overall a 4 1/2 rating. During our second visit, we requested a small break between courses and they accommodated our request without any issues. Kim, our server, was very friendly and helpful. My friends who I have brought along have also been very impressed with the quality of the food.

The takeout from this restaurant was delicious! The honey chicken was incredibly tender and the service was friendly and quick. The dim sims were also fantastic, and the oyster combination was brilliant.

Best Chinese Food In Wendouree and Ballarat. I first visited the Golden Up with my husband in August and I have been waiting to go again. We went there again and the food was really fresh and yummy. Kim is great and will make whatever you want, however you want to order it. Favorite restaurant in town :

I enjoyed everything I ate from this restaurant tonight.<br/ I had the honey chicken which in most chinese restaurants around town is deep fried to a crisp, but here it was fried yet soft. A welcome change.<br/ <br/ The fried rice was cooked well and tasted better than most I've had around Ballarat.<br/ <br/ The winner for me however was the Char Shiu (Chinese Roast Pork) entree. It had an immediate delicious BBQ pork smell and tasted amazing! Will definitely be back.

Really sweet Mum and Dad type chinese restaurant. Has a very neighbourhood, local feel. Service was very warm and friendly. The prices are great. And while the food is not my favourite chinese in Ballarat, is still very good.
