Golden Up Chinese Restaurant

Fantastic food, attentive and friendly staff. Some of the best fried rice I have ever tasted and the rest of our shared dishes were also similarly delicious. I don't know why this restaurant isn't packed out every night. We will be returning!

An ordinary suburban Chinese restaurant, but don't let the plain exterior fool you. Great food, good service. Enjoyed eating here a lot. Highly recommended.

I have eaten at Golden Up on numerous occasions and have never had a bad meal. The food is fresh, and the best cuts of meat are used. I can't go past the Ginger Beef, but I also love the Mongolian Beef. The dim sims, spring rolls, etc are home made and delicious. The restaurant setting is basic but adequate, with friendly staff. The Golden Up also does a busy trade in take away.

I regularly come here with my mum for lunch as she loves Chinese. I've tried other places in Ballarat but usually find them too greasy. Golden up are very fresh and cheap. It's a family run business and the waitresses are so lovely and are always up for a chat.

Amazing sizzling plate of Mongolian Beef ! My sister had satay Chicken and we had friend rice. Green tea, large spring roles to start .. Mmmm Mmmm . Was worth the 45 minute wait on a busy Saturday night, so make sure you aren't in a rush. . . But then again, this good of food shouldn't be rushed.
