we've been going to the wolfsbach source for years. you can choose between classic and modern dishes on a small card. in the summer you sit in a magnificent beer garden, in winter at the bouncing fireplace in the historic half-timbered house. The service is warm and inconspicuous. as often as we have eaten here: eating is always excellent quality. Families with children are not welcome here either. Even if we are a guest together with several families, turnover is correct, everyone comes here that it is disturbing and disturbing. We're not coming here anymore. View all feedback.

There is a day card and a small card with the standards of the house.I was two times in the last two weeks there and am very done.Rightly good eating, from sweet to meat.Using is very friendly. without problems you can combine dishes. The dining rooms from the inside need a renovation.
After we complained about the pfeffer sauce alcohol, the sauce was scratched from the steak in the kitchen, and then the same meat, already cut, was covered with other sauce! I can't! .... we even had a table reserved in the restaurant to the wolfsbach source as we had read so many positive recommendations. first much we asked about the big family at the table behind us in the five minute cycle whether everything is ok (as similar to loriot) obviously often, so that we thought this could not be right here. the appetizers were quite expensive and tasted. the man was, however, very oily. then came the main dish: steak with pfeffer sauce, pommes, salat and lamb chops, vegetables, rosemary. the lamb chops were not koteletts but pieces from the back in slices, the green beans were cooked much too soft. after my man, who is allergic, had tried a piece of his steak covered with pfeffer sauce, he noticed that an allergic reaction began on the basis of the alcohol which was in the sauce. (he had consciously ordered this sauce there was not that there was alcohol in it).We called the waiter who gave to go in the kitchen to ask. then a dame came in jeans and jacket at our table of which we thought it was the chefin and she told us that she did not know what they did in the kitchen. the teller with the steak was taken along and assured us that you want to exchange all the things into the same dish without alcohol. in the meantime, my man was not so good and he had gone out to the fresh air. After I was outside and came back in, I just heard how the kitchen was called: you shouldn't get dressed like that was just a little alcohol in there, whereupon the chefin was obliged. back to the table, then the same dish was refreshed with the same meat covered with other pfeffer sauce. when we realized at the interface in the flesh that it was the same piece in which the alcohol of the other sauce was already present, we went immediately. at the exit door the chefin stood behind the bar, and my man asked her what this is supposed to serve him the same cut meat! there was no excuse, no explanation and nothing. ergowe find no case that this restaurant is recommended!! Neither the service nor the food nor anything ... the cooks are absolutely incompetent, as the chefin does not seem to originate from gastronomy, otherwise it would be more appropriate. that eats at risk the health (who knows what is eaten in the kitchen) and you are not taken seriously as a hospitable at all, but laughed out and pulled off.
To wolfsbachquelle - w. bruckmann and h. brown - old-eingesessenes restaurant in good-bourgeois style in Essen-Bredeney. a little hidden, but still very centrally located (near bredeneyer cross, close to the gruga and the fairground) this restaurant offers food for every taste. whether indoors or in summer in the garden, you can enjoy local dishes and also international cuisine.
