The corned beef hash and potatoes needed more flavor, like rosemary, sage, ground black pepper, or more than three small pieces of green pepper. One egg was cooked perfectly, the other slightly over cooked. The orange sauce is like vinegar mixed with milk powder. The muffin was good. View all feedback.
Effie's Place is a great spot for dining alone. I always seek out places with good food and a welcoming atmosphere for solo dining. I tried the special Eggnog French toast and fried chicken wings, both of which were delicious. However, what stood out the most to me was the excellent service from my server. Not only did she check in to see if I needed anything, but she also genuinely asked if I enjoyed my meal. Her sincerity was truly refreshing and lifted my mood.

The winter specials at this restaurant, including peppermint waffles and eggnog French toast, were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us with whatever we needed.
Outstanding! We needed a 9x12 lasagna, salad, and appetizers on short notice for my mom’s 95th birthday and they pulled us out of the fire. It was all fantastic. Everyone loved everything. Thank you again!!
