Deer Park Beefeater - West Lothian

I went to this restaurant and ordered a steak, but it was served cold. I sent it back and it seemed like it had just been microwaved. The rest of the meal was also cold. I told the waitress about the issue, and she said that the type of steak I had ordered would be cold, but it shouldn't have been. I emailed to complain because I couldn't speak to a manager, but I haven't heard anything back yet.

We waited about 10 minutes before anyone approached our table, then waited another 5-10 minutes before placing our order. After finishing our starters, we waited the same amount of time for our main meals. Unfortunately, my chicken dish was undercooked in the middle and the chips were cold. The quality of this restaurant has declined significantly.

During our 2-night stay at Premier Inn in Livingston, we decided to dine at the Beefeater next door and took advantage of their meal deal. Our server, Lewis, was new to the role but provided excellent service. Despite his inexperience, he was very helpful, polite, and always had a cheerful smile. Lewis made our dining experience very enjoyable.

Delicious food and really good service from hard working staff. Burgers were lovely and the steak was cooked to perfection. Diane was efficient and friendly and Claire always has time for a smile and a chat even when she’s really busy.

Meal and service excellent. Lewis our young waiter exceptional. He was very efficient and and polite, and chatty. Looked after us well.
