Sapporo Korean Barbecue Sushi Restaurant

If you're looking for amazing food, a great atmosphere, and an incredibly entertaining karaoke night, you must visit this place! My friend and I went here on a Friday night and from the moment we arrived until we left, we felt so welcomed. We are big karaoke fans and we always search for the best places to have a good time and sing our hearts out. And we finally found it! The food was fantastic and our server was exceptional. I can't remember everyone's name, but Allyssa was so kind, attentive, and sweet. We truly felt like we had known her forever. However, the highlight of this restaurant was the owners, Mike and his wife. I have never met anyone so kind and proud of their employees and customers. Mike truly went above and beyond, and I couldn't be more grateful. We would have come back just for the food alone, but because of Mike and Allysa, we have become regulars. Thank you for making us feel at home. We can't wait to visit again!

I tried this restaurant for the first time on Sunday before Valentine's Day and it was delicious. I was one of their first customers of the day, so there was a bit of a wait as they were getting prepared, but the bibimbap I ordered was delicious. They also served additional side dishes and miso soup. I will definitely be returning! I already love this place and can't wait to try more of their menu items.

My boyfriend and I had our first Korean BBQ experience at Sapporo and it was fantastic! Our waiter, Jonathan (I believe that was his name), was incredibly kind and attentive. He was also very helpful in guiding us on meat selection for the BBQ. The owner was also very friendly and made sure to check on us despite being busy. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Sapporo, and don't forget to try the Korean fried chicken! We definitely plan on visiting again.

Food was good, but service was lacking. Arrived at around 2:30 pm on a Saturday off peak. Waited a bit to be seated, then was quite a while before someone came to take my order even though there weren't many people. I ordered a Korean stew on the menu and asked to add japchae (as the menu listed it's an additional $2 to add it). Server said okay. When it came, it came with just rice. I decided in my head I was okay with it and was okay with no japchae, but decided to ask. I had to flag down the server because he never came to check on me after delivering the food. He said the japchae should be in the stew. It was not, so I showed him it wasn't. He then went to review the menu and I showed him the line where I'd seen the option to add japchae for $2 more. He was confused and went to go ask someone before returning and saying they don't do that anymore. Overall I was fine with it, but they need to update the menu and server should have said something when I ordered to begin with. Unmet expectations leave a bad taste in the mouth. Also, would he have charged me for it thinking it was in my stew if I didn't say something? Finally, my glass of water ran dry without the server ever refilling it during my meal.Tl;dr Food was good, but service was disappointing.
