Slick's Motorsports Bar & Grill Inc.

Slicks was my go-to spot in Wetaskiwin for getting big wings. However, I was very disappointed when I picked up my order and found that they did not include any dipping sauces for the fries. The 1lb Caribbean jerk wings were not as tasty as they had been in the past. They were not very saucy and lacked the bold, spicy flavor I was expecting.

My first time visiting this restaurant with a group of friends was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is beautiful, with well-lit rooms and motorsport-themed decor. There is a decent-sized dance floor and VLTs for entertainment. The food is exceptional, especially the large selection of Eastern Indian dishes. Although they also offer wings and fries, trying the Indian cuisine is a must. I personally enjoyed the chicken marsala, which was fantastic. The only drawback was the service. We waited 40 minutes before our server finally acknowledged us, despite trying to make eye contact with her and the bartender. Four people from our group had to go to the bar multiple times to refill their drinks, even though there were only around 20 customers in the restaurant. This resulted in missed opportunities for the bar, as we would have ordered more drinks and appetizers if the service had been better. Despite this, I would still consider going back for dinner, but would hope for improved service.

Last time I was there the service was so-so, it could be better and not have been back in over 6 months, so it could be better now. On the top it is the best live music location in the city.

Slicks wins a reputation for excellent food and comfortable decor. Would be very close to a 5 rating if they were an outdoor terrace.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy wings or drinks with friends while playing pool. I highly recommend trying the deep fried pickles. There is ample seating, and a back room is also available for booking private parties.
