Hotel-Restauraunt Henriette Davidis

We arrived in the afternoon in the hotel, the owner received us and told us the price of the room : 59 euros. He made us fill in a form, in which he wrote that the price of the room amounted to 59 euros, breakfast included.The room, although clean, was shabby, as the location and the hotel itself.The next morning, when we wanted to check out and pay our room, the owner (the same person of the day before!) presented us a bill of 89 euros (!!!), with the absurd motivation that that was the right price for two persons, while the agreed price of 59 was just for one person. After our complaints for the totally uncorrect behaviour, the gran finale arrived with a racist comment on our italian nationality! Was the owner blind the evening before? Didn't he see that we were two when he showed us the way to the room? Unless you enjoy being stolen, we absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

We were both in the hotel and the restaurant. The rooms are basic standard, design from the 70s. We could park our bikes. Breakfast was okay. The restaurant has a German menu, but we have tasted better food in the area. The restaurant design is quite nice. Our meat was overcooked, the rest was average. No desert menu at all.Both hotel and restaurant would have deserved a rating around 3-4. However, when we were finished with dinner around 10:30 PM and were almost alone in the restaurant we were practically thrown out. Chairs were put on tables, a noisy dishwasher was turned on. When we complained, the chef made comments that made us leave the restaurant immediately. I have never been treated like this in a restaurant before. Therefore only one point.

Very nice restaurant with good atmosphere. beautiful decorations and excellent eating. the personal is nice. price is good.
