I felt welcomed as a solo diner. The waitress was friendly and professional. My food was excellent. However, what stood out to me was how clean the place was and how well organised the open kitchen was. Everyone was working very calmly and efficiently. View all feedback.
What david parry doesn't like about Quayside:

Called in for pre dinner drinks, coffees were all horribly weak and milky. Staff were outstanding, friendly and welcoming
We called in here on our last day in Whitby. All the fish and chips are good in Whitby but I think this is the best. Excellent service in a nice environment and the fish and chips are delicious.
Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Love the decor, art deco vibe. Food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely worth a visit.
Went for a family 40th birthday. Asked if they could provide a balloon at the table which they did. Not only that, they had seated us upstairs which made us feel 'extra special. ' Have been coming here for several years and have never been disappointed with the food.
Been here many times for fish and chips Yesterday was a BIG disappointment Got the order wrong , even though it’s taken on an iPad, turned up eventually dripping in oil, my wife’s scampi’s were none existent, too much batter no meat.. Got charged £2.25 for a portion of garden peas !! Two meals 40 quid !, never going again Shameful
