We went to the WAG for a special event and were impressed with the friendly, efficient service. The food was exceptional, with beautiful presentation, delicious flavors, and satisfying textures. The menu offered a great selection of dishes to choose from. The only downside was that the dining room was a bit chilly, despite us bringing sweaters. However, we still highly recommend the WAG. What pmarkwick doesn't like about Washington Avenue Grill:
They need to update the menu it hasn't changed for years, boring. Way too noisy could not have a decent conversation with guests at our table. Had enough. After many years I will not be returning. Parking is terrible lucky to find a spot in the lot or pay parking on the street or behind the restaurant. View all feedback.

I had a wonderful time at Washington Avenue Grill last night. The food was amazing, with everyone loving the Flat Iron steak, Lamb Shank and Lamb T-Bones, Roasted Beet Salad, and Peanut Butter Pie. The service was excellent, and the portions were generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I went to WAG for the first time and was extremely pleased with our experience. We ordered calamari, seafood penne, seafood hotpot, and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was delicious and did not disappoint. The seafood was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, without being overpowering. The portion sizes were generous, with plenty of seafood for the price. The service was friendly, although a bit slow - it took about 2 hours from sitting down to leaving after enjoying appetizers, main courses, and dessert for 3 people. Despite this, we will definitely be returning.
