We stayed at a nearby resort (Snowbird Haven Summer Resort). My wife insisted on not cooking so we planned to do our dinners at this restaurant located in the Cedar Cove Resort. Both dinners were absolutely amazing and the value was incredible! Beautiful views of the lake. I have no idea why other posters would rate this poorly. If I could rate this a 0 I would. Do not come here unless you want to wait 2 hrs for your food and only get a sorry your in line it shouldnt be that long and then wait another half an hour. Rude, horrible service. View all feedback.
Cedar Cover Resort on White Lake is the home of the Likeside Grill, it has been totally revamped after a fire last year.
Great food!! It's casual, very clean, modern decor and bright. We've had a number of family events/dinners here (25+ people), as well as dinners for two and four, and have always been pleased with food and service. If you are boating on White Lake, you can dock your boat and have lunch. Great spot.
I am visiting it from time to time. The food is good and the cuisine is diversified. The service is excellent, very friendly and you feel welcomed here. Good soups and amazing beef dinner. If you are passing by and feel like eating something you should pay a visit
We often visit White Lake and were attracted to the Lakeside Grill by the signage along the road. We pop in for a drink and the odd meal and have always been satisfied. However, things happened this weekend that will make us rethink our patronage. First, Friday evening we called to order pizza for 12 people for pick up and were told they ran out of pizza dough! What!Then Sunday morning we turned up again to meet up with friends for breakfast only to be told they don't open until 11am.What are they thinking, to miss out on the Sunday brunch crowd. Not happy with the inconsistency.
We ate here several times as we rented a cottage at the resort this year and visited friends here last year. The restaurant has a lovely view of White Lake. I enjoyed Fish and Chips, garden salad and obviously homemade soup on different occasions. Hubble had burgers, fish & chips (his favourite) and beef dinner. All food was delightfully presented, fresh and very tasty! The service was knowledgeable and friendly.We wished they served breakfast on the weekends and opened earlier than noon on Friday. Cottage checkout is 11 am on Fridays and many, I suspect, like us, would like to pack, checkout and have lunch or brunch before setting out on the trip home. Reluctantly we left and went to a restaurant in Packenham before setting out for our trip home. I expect this is a lost opportunity for this restaurant!
