Songkran Thai - White Rock Peak

I had almost given up trying Thai food in Cairns, none of them hit the mark. Well I found Songkran it is the best by far. Superb fresh food to die for. It is now our 'go to' for a night off cooking. I am so pleased it is on our side of town.

I love Thai food and i come from Melbourne and this is the best i have tasted, we to dine in every now and then but mainly takeout on way home from work, the first visit there i ordered an entree and could not eat another thing and it only cost me $10 for it, great portions at a great price when we eat in we normally bring our leftovers home for lunch next and when we do takeout it's the same great value for money. Peter and his wife and the staff are awesome

These guys absolutely rock. There curries are spectacular. If you ask for Tai hot or crazy tai hot .. make sure you really mean it .. I had the crazy tai hot green curry and it was possibly the best curry I have ever had .. but I woke up at 1am In a sweat haha. These guys really know thier stuff. We order their food all the time

What a gem of a place! We eat here regularly, once or twice a week and have never had a bad meal. The food is amazing, authentic and oh so flavorsome. The meals are very decent size and we are always left with enough left for lunches the following day. The owners are truly beautiful people, who despite a couple of hiccups have continued to provide the south side of Cairns with a wonderful family friendly restaurant and by far the best Thai takeaway in Cairns.

WOW! Staying in Cairns and we were in the mood for Thai/Pan-Asian Researched using other travel sites and Mr Soy Boy came up as the top choice.
