The Trawlerman - Wigan

Seriously the best chippy around! believes the hype that is so good. great friendly people and good prices for what they get. the smack barm pea wet is phenomenal! the baby 's 'yed was gross and of course the classic fish and chips were on the spot! we came from America and were not disappointed!

Eight people in the waiting queue before me, on the early Tuesday of the afternoon was a positive start, because they did not shy for mediocrity! like the pictures that were in portions were perfect. the quality of the teigs on the freshly boiled fish was excellent as the quality of the chips. the three employees were very busy but had time for a smile and a friendly chat. the restaurant quality of a takeaway is hard to replicate, but they have managed it here! I'll be back soon! try it, they won't regret it.

Smack barm pea wet wigan kebabs galore! this is the best chippy in wigan, especially when they are after the famous (and elusive) lancashire chippy article. wigan kebab (this is a meat and potato cake in a butter bread roll), smack barm pey wet (scattered potato scallop in a broth roll with water from mushy) and babbysh’ed (steak kidney pudding). the young who lead this place are great, and that is one must visit when they go wigan, or they go to a rugby league or football game in the DW Stadium on the road.

We recently set up a four-person panel to check our local chippies. our final rates of trawlerman by far the best and most valuable money. our only thing is that one of the four person-paneele enjoys fruity curry, and he was annoyed when he received the recreation that they did not sell fruity curry, he came around soon when he saw the excellent portion sizes. keep the good work Trawlerman/Trawlerwoman/every other they identify.
