A bit of a classic round Olten is the Aarehof. Wonderfully placed on the Aare, yet the Restaurant fails to capitalise on this view....... as there is none.Still. The food has a good reputation. I would stick to the Classics on the menu, and cant vouch for the degustation menu. A bit pricy for what you get. Portion sizes leave a little to be desired. The menu size is good. there are many options with local taste. The final quality is excellent. I tried both risotto and meat and they were great.
If you stay in Wildegg, I would recommend trying the hot stone steak with the salad buffet, always cooked for perfection.
