I wanted to try Culture Cafe for a while and finally had time to visit. I immediately noticed how cozy it was. I was immediately greeted and sat in the most comfortable chair next to the entrance. What Ena Green doesn't like about Green Leafe Cafe:
This place dosen't have the best food, I had cheese steak and was like eating leather. I asked for no mushrooms 2x and I had them on my sandwich. this place is just good for basic food , hamburgers anything that's basic because there cook dosen't seem to be a good cook, he didn't even season my steak sandwich and there was no salt and pepper on the table either. I loved this place! It is cozy and pub-like, with great classic bar/comfort food- I had the fish and chips, which was really good.
Great mood and nice staff! Our food was cold and the part on the peanut butter Toast was on the smaller side. The bread is amazing!
The Culture Cafe is unique and picturesque. The atmosphere is like thrifty English coffee shop. The food had great potential and the taste was almost there. I got the truffle poutine polenta and it looked great and tasted good, but it would have been amazing if it was hot or simply warm. The chopped eggs were solid and did not run, the cheese cures were not melted and the sausages were warm. The best was the Focaccia and they sell charges for $10.
