As soon as you go to Hirschs, you feel at home. There are two fireplaces and a very cozy home. Everything is of high quality and was told by owner Koch that all soups, sauces, etc. homemade! The service was ridiculously slow, although there was practically no one when we arrived. My chicken was dry, and Bland. My friend's sandwich was pretty good, but not better than D'Angelo. Ate there 2/26/14 had the lobster special it was delicious good price nice atmosphere sat by fireplace warm and cozyMet owner very nice and attentive.
My wife and I have been to Hirsch's many times in the past few years.
Very nice established eatery Probably best suited for an older crowd. The server was extremely nice and competent.
