While some customers found the food disappointing due to issues like overcooked meat and lack of flavor, others praised the stellar service, delicious dishes such as egg rolls and fried rice, and ample portions. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were also highlighted. Despite some negative experiences, regular patrons appreciated the consistent quality of the meals. With a long-established presence in the area, Pomegranate Restaurant remains a popular choice, offering a variety of tasty Chinese dishes at reasonable prices.
This is the cleanest, friendliest Chinese food restaurant in Windsor or the Windsor area. The food is always fabulous. By far the best wonton soup, egg rolls and fried rice! There is a vast selection of plates to choose from and anything you choose is sure to excite your taste buds. Excellent flavour and portions are plentiful.
Just got take out. General tsao chicken worst ever. Maybe 8 pieces of chicken. Fried rice is just horrible. Rice is overcooked, bland and mushy. Greasy egg rolls. Chicken chop suey bad. This place used to be really good years ago. Thought we would give it another try. Really disappointed again . Food quality is bad. Way over priced and small portions to boot. This is the worst Chinese I've had in a long time. Never again.
We stopped for dinner after after a long wait for an appointment. We ordered combination plates. We had gai din and beef with vegetables. My husband had the hot and sour soup. All food arrived piping hot and everything tasted fresh and delicious.Staff was friendly and efficient.
