Contribute FeedbackDespite a reservation mishap and disappointing steak sandwiches, Moxie's made a group celebration memorable with great service and beautifully decorated dessert. The restaurant's location near a hockey arena provided a relaxed atmosphere, although typically, it wouldn't close during game days. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. With great drinks, food, and staff, Moxie's in downtown Winnipeg offers a consistently satisfying experience. For those looking to try something new, the Trash Panda IPA from Vancouver paired with grilled corn guacamole comes highly recommended for a delightful dining experience.
Since this location is attached to the Hockeybahn des Winnipeg Jet and only 250 fans were allowed, the restaurant was very switched off and it was easy to get a table. On a typical day of play I wouldn't close this restaurant. In any case, the food was great, better than I was last time at a Moxie's and service was also great. The many service employees had a lot of time to ensure that our needs were met.
We had steak sandwiches and they were spicy over the top until we could not eat bread. The steak, although tasty was very hard. Both salads were good, but we were looking forward to a good steak sandwich and were disappointed
Hostess sat individuals at different tables, although we mentioned the same reservation. It took a while to connect. Good business lunch.
As always good food service was very good, very noisy this time as there was a rock concert at he arena and the restaurant was packed, awesome dinner
Yes good food good service, 4 stars not 5 as I reserve 5 stars for over the top. Great place to go if you have an event downtown
