Captain's Table Restaurant - Winnipeg

The atmosphere was somewhat dark and gloomy and in need of some updating The fish itself was good but I didn't care for the thick hard, batter.

The captains table has become our go to restaurant for fish and chips. They serve the best fish and chips in the city. We try to get there once a week. However they have more than fish and chips. Their fried chicken and their rib bites are also really really good. Others we have been with say that anything they have tried has been great. We used to go to duckys and Rae and gerrys for their fish and chip specials but stopped going after the quality of the food went down.

Went for lunch because we read this was a great fish & chip place. They also serve hamburgers & a few other items on their menu that would appeal to anyone. We had their fish, chips & onion rings. The halibut was to die for! All three of us agreed this is the best we've tasted. The restaurant is very clean & the decor an interesting atmosphere, food well presented & came quickly to our table. The server & other staff all very friendly & happy to provide quality service & food to their customers! What a great place ! We'll surely be back & will tell our friends about this place. Great coffee too ! Captain's Table rates highly, top notch. Wow !

Landed up at this restaurant because we were looking for something close by to our airbnb. This place is fantastic. Great service. Great food. It's small and has a really nice atmosphere. Great for a quiet dinner or lunch. The prices are very reasonable too. I'll be going back for sure.

Went for lunch with the boss. One peice cod and fries were amaaazing. Would recommend to anyone! Great service aswell
