Despite some service issues, the food is considered a great value compared to other fast food options. Some patrons were disappointed by cold food and slow service, while others praised the delicious flavors and affordable prices. Overall, opinions were mixed, but the consensus seems to be that the buffet offers a good selection of dishes at a reasonable price.
My partner and I went for supper. They were a couple hours away from closing but their buffet was practically depleted. What food was left was cold and unappetizing. There was a young lady server who seemed to want to be friendly but she was hovered over by a male (strict cultural thing maybe). Anyways, we like Asian food but this was the worst we'd eaten at.
Worst Indian buffet. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this food. The rice was cold, tough goat meat, tap water no ice, did not offer us anything else. We ask for pop and got frozen pop could not come out the can and the waiter did not even apologize. Small buffet for 9.99 plus taxes and the worst.
I have eaten here at least three times. First time was an ok experience. Second time, the waitress just assumed we were going for the buffet, so we had to get up, go to the cashier and ask for a menu. We ordered drinks and they came late, nans which come with the buffet also was late in coming. Buffet was not stocked well and the pakoras were dry and rock hard. Third time we gave it another try with the same results. I also used to order take out samosas and the taste is never the same; i,e., they could be spicy and tasty one time, the next time, there would be no salt and overcooked. Also the person behind the cash register is rarely there to take your order. Once I ordered a dozen somasas and got TEN!!!
We seldom order from buffets because who knows how long the stuff has sat there? We ordered off the menu. The samosas were good, but not great. The black lentil dal was excellent as was the naan but the cook just took the peas paneer off the buffet. I saw him do it but didn't make the connection until we tasted the dish and it was lukewarm. Not impressed!
We've frequented this restaurant through what appear to be a number of ownership changes. While we've had a variety of experiences with the buffet, we've generally gone back periodically. Unfortunately this last visit made us quite sick. The food looked like it had been sitting out all day and although everything on the buffet was hot, it was dried out and some of the vegetables even a little burnt. The raw veggies on the salad side were positively iffy. We regretted eating here and won't go back!
