Went here with kids and adults. Decor is simple and a bit old, but the food is excellent and not overpriced. Staff is very welcoming. Good variety of north american food and korean food. For example, our table ordered in same meal: bacon and eggs, korean pork dumplings, hamburger and fries, and korean spicy noodle seafood soup. Something for everyone! View all feedback.
What Polarbear x dislikes about Dad's Family Restaurant:
The estimated p/u time is never accurate. You have to spend extra 20-30m to wait. This isn’t acceptable. One star is even too much. How comes you tell customers the time that you can’t promise?! The customers’ time MATTERS as well! The vegetable oil used for fried chicken tasted like it’s been used for many times. Chicken is good, but it’s better avoid it because of the oil. Exceptionally hospitable owners/staff... My boyfriend and I originally dined at Dad's for the Trivial Pursuit cards at every table. We continue to visit for the variety of pretty tasty food (staple sandwiches and burgers, as well as Korean food we have yet to try), but mostly the above and beyond wait staff.
Wonderful!!!. Been here a few times, love their breakfast. The service is great also. Seems like Sunday is the busiest day, so the wait may be a tad bit long, but it is worth it! Fresh ground coffee is also a plus.
Clubhouse For Days is an amazing restaurant. The cozy dining area and bustling kitchen create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is affordable and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming and attentive, quickly recognizing regular customers. Don't miss out on trying the clubhouse or Bulls Eye burger - they are sure to delight your taste buds. Enjoy your meal!
Good breakfast, kind service. I will defiantly be back.
Korean comfort food, too.. I tried some of the Korean dishes here the other day I think the restaurant transferred ownership to some Korean people a while ago). They have 돈까스 deep fried pork cutlet), 양념 치킨 fried chicken with spicy sauce), 짬뽕 spicy seafood noodle soup), 탕수육 sweet and sour pork), 짜장면 stir fried noodles with Chinese bean sauce) and ramyeon. They 're dishes that aren 't necessarily Korean per se, but have been adapted to the Korean palate. <br/ <br/ It was by no means gourmet. For example, the cutlet was served with some shrivelled up, previously frozen vegetables, and shredded lettuce with squirts of mayo and ketchup on it. So if you 're not accustomed to hanging out in hole-in-the-wall Korean fast food dives in Seoul, you might be disappointed. <br/ <br/ However, if you 're someone who knows what it means to have a sudden craving for 辛 ramyeon in the middle of the night, and the exact same ramyeon that you have in your cupboard at home just won 't cut it….then you 'll like it here. They 've also kept the 'Canadian menu '. So if hamburgers are more suitable to satiate your cravings, they 've got that too.
