What User doesn't like about Dalat:
This was our favorite place when it was on Ellice, the biggest mistake they ever did was move to Taylor and raise the prices. Prices are now borderline outrageous and unacceptable.Food is still very good but the pricing makes it a place to avoid. It's very unfortunate they find this pricing acceptable. We would return weekly if prices come down to within reason.Another Winnipeg problem, high prices poor value. Everytime we come to the city we come here for the vermicelli bowls! Great food, friendly service! Try the honey ginger tea!

The restaurant is very clean, service with a smile, washroom was clean and plenty of street parking. The service staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Recommend this restaurant.

My wife, her sister and I go to Dalat a few times a year because it's close to home for us. We usually have the same three dishes, our faves from another restaurant since closed a few years ago: Hot and Spicy Chicken (a pale comparison of that from the old Oceana Restaurant,) Ginger Beef and Shrimp with almonds and diced vegetables. The food is always OK, but could usually make a bolder statement with more flavor. I wouldn't call it bland, but more spicing would be nice. Service is usually good and we like the modern decor but if we got more kick out of the food we might come back more often.
I've been going to Delat for years, ever since they have been on Ellice ( btw they are no longer on Ellice, they are located on Taylor, by Sobeys.) Prices have increased since they have moved to Taylor but the food is still very good. Also great service.
