What Sauli Möttönen doesn't like about Resto Gare:
Rack of lamb in a bowl in a bed of creamed potato ? This is French cuisine? On the verge of being too cold to eat .Mystery special just so ,so . Service barely adequate. Two couples , both formerly fave restaurant. No more . Used to be good ,now just barely okay . View all feedback.
From the beaten road in winnipeg in an old railway station. good French eating and amazing fries at the Steak ferry. good sirloin, but just a little.
.5 for service this is a unique French bistro in the old station building in st. boniface, with a train coach at the restaurant.
Resto gare bistro is a cool restaurant in st. boniface, the French quarter winnipeg. I remember that it's called la vieille gare. it has changed since.
My standby restaurant for an important lunch meeting is Resto Gare. I know that my guests will always be well taken care of. There are choices to suit everyone's interest on the large menu, the daily specials are always excellent, and the the service is friendly knowledgeable and professional.
