Carlos has some amazing food that I often get what is the special of the day and is never disappointed. You also have a large Mexican seafood menu if you want seafood, this is the best place to go in Winston.

We are usually satisfied with their food, but today our order in the kitchen has been forgotten. We waited for an hour. We barely have it warm, I buy the shredded beef flakes You used to be very juicy and well seasoned. Maybe they switched companies, but they were very slandered.

The best restaurant I have been to period, in a very long time. 1. The wait to be seated was so short. The host was genuine and so kind. He made sure we got beverages right away, and offered outside patio seating. He allowed us to choose our own seats, under the shade of the cedar tree. 2. The wait staff was more attentive than most and made sure we were happy, well fed, and had beverages. 3. The food was amazing. Delicious, full of flavor, hot (but the plates didn't burn you). The beans were salty and perfect consistency. The rice was perfect, fluffy and yummy. The taquitos were crisp and loaded with toppings. I have never been so impressed with a restaurant. The atmosphere that is created in this place is unparalleled. The owners are doing it right and the management is top-notch. Please visit them. Tip well, they deserve it.

I 'm so happy I did. I 've lived in Oregon for about 6 years, most of that was in Portland. I 'm so impressed by this restaurant off the beaten path. I 'd even venture to say it 's top 3 best Mexican restaurants I 've been to in Oregon. First off, their Cadillac Margarita is awesome. Strong but an incredible flavor, not TOO strong. They advertise in their menu the quality of the agave in their tequila they use, and it shows. Next, the salsa is delicious and the perfect consistency. Too often, I find most restaurants ' salsa is watery and not very fresh. Carlos ' salsa is thick, a spice level to make most palates happy, and very fresh. Well done. For the entree, man this is a hat trick. Or, a triple play if you 're more into baseball than hockey. I got the Banderillas de Camarones (pictured) shrimp, veggies and orange and pineapple over rice. Perfectly seasoned, great balance of flavor. The shrimp was cooked exactly how it should be to be done and still retain juices. You must try Carlos ' if you are in Winston. It 's worth going out of the way off I 5 if you 're passing through. You won 't be disappointed. Bravo!

I have always enjoyed my visits to Carlos's. The staff is fast and friendly and the food has always been on point. The salsa has great flavor and not too much spice. My only gripe is that the prices seem a bit high, but the flavors are authentic and there's nothing else that comes close to them in the area as far as quality. Clean, organized, and always a good experience. Highly recommend.
