Absolutely delicious! The cheese fondue came with apples, bread and potatoes. You could cook dripping sauces for your own meat. They also had to get shrimp. Cosy location in a cave like atmosphere with a fake fireplace. The stairs come down. Nice clean bathroom. There were only two waitresses, but overall they were all right. View all feedback.

I called as we wanted to reserve a table, I asked nicely if she spoke in English, to which she curtly replied No. , I then asked if she spoke French, the response was “we speak Swiss German here. » No excuses, or way to find a solution. Attention, danger to life!!!!!! We were there two days ago with the team for our Christmas dinner. Here are our impressions: Generally: Cellar and ambience very nice Unfriendly and completely overwhelmed staff seems very amateurish and has nothing to do with a professional restaurant (looks like a party room Eat: Cheese fondue very fine and good (ate 1 of 6 starter salad ok (green salad Dessert (a scoop of ice cream ok Fondue Chinoise disaster (eaten 5 out of 6 The pork on both plates was inedible, smelled very strong and was rotten! Now without Seich. We complained and were given new plates, but the staff didn't care, didn't apologize, but confirmed that the meat was no longer good. The meat on the second plate wasn't OK either! The additions from the buffet (gurkli, olives, sauces, etc. were ok but of poor quality. The fries were salted in the first round, but then I forgot to season them due to the stress. Our tip: Just stick with the cheese fondue, it's really tasty and then the service follows suit (1 service person for over 15 tables . Then you wouldn't have to wait 40 minutes for a drink, etc.! Be a little friendlier and react more professionally when guests report something about rotten meat (which you also confirmed . That was really very disappointing. Since we all didn't eat the meat, which was bad, everyone is fine. That's the main thing. It wasn't a great evening for us and we won't be visiting you again. Kellnerin hatte keine Ahnung von der weinkarte und sie vergass uns immer wieder, obwohl nicht wirklich viele Gäste da waren. Das Fondue war ok.
The ambience is TOP, but unfortunately the rest is a flop. Staff are often understaffed, unfriendly and forget a lot. Chinoise meat often looks inedible.
Totally beautiful, harmonious location! You won't find anything comparable in Winterthur! The prices are also reasonable. Also suitable for company events.
