What Edi Baumann doesn't like about Golf Kyburg:
I tested the Kyburg Golf Club today. The course is very demanding, but not in a good way! I also played my handicap of 11.3, so from that point of view it wasn't a negative experience and I still don't like Kyburg! 1. No hole descriptions on the tee! 2. Lots of treacherous blind holes! 3. Too many imbalances! 4. Highway noise! 5. Power lines on hole 9! 6th prize CHF 160. in the morning at 7:00 a.m.! I decided against... View all feedback.
Very nice place. Did the basic course with Peter: great, friendly and competent instructor. We recommend! The restaurant business is also recommended.
Well-kept facility, good fairways, greens too high and similar to Apollinaire on tree garden, unfortunately not good. Very nice surroundings, varied fairways, nice par 3, only the noise of the motorway is a bit annoying. Clubhouse refreshingly bright, very friendly staff! Unfortunately the prices are too high. To compare again, the “Whispering Angel” costs 69 SFr in the “in-local” merchants in Zurich, not 79 SFr like in Sempach and Kyburg. You're wondering whether you should spend 24 SFr on a tarte flambée, compared to €12 at GC Basel. You can get a comparable rosé there for €38.
Top terrace for a cozy atmosphere
