This local pub is fantastic. They offer great real ale from Holden's Brewery that is always of top-notch quality. The staff is wonderful, especially Nick the bartender, who is a friendly and welcoming local. Just be sure to check the opening times, as they tend to open around 4 pm and do not serve lunch. I went to this restaurant on a Monday night and had a great experience with their unique interactive quiz game done on tablets. It took some getting used to, but added a fun twist to the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was friendly, and they had a good selection of beers. The only downside was that the quiz favored quicker, younger participants, which may not be fair to older, slower guests.
