Lobethal Bakery - Woodside

We walked here to get cake for my daughters birthday, decided on mini mud cakes, pretty good, not too sweet. Good service. I think it's pretty popular with the locals and generally this is a gorgeous little town to visit.

We were just passing this nice little bakery and stopped for afternoon tea, such a calming lovely place. Plenty of goodies to choose from and all appeared to be popular. People came for their "usual" and others were tourists looking for some comfort food, well here it is. Worthy of a visit.

After living in Adelaide it is always great to return and indulge in some of the LB wares. Fantastic donuts, cakes and more, a real treasure and sorely missed whilst away.

The "Loby" bakery has stood the test of time and for very good reason. I have never had a single disappointment from here and that spans over 30 years of visiting from time to time. Its grown a lot in that time, usually a downfall of many a business, yet this bakery has grown its customer focus in line with the establishment and you are always made to feel welcome here.Great food, good prices and great staff.

I went here with my husband for lunch, the food was nice and the coffee was alright too. I tried their ice cream as well, which I didn't particularly enjoy- just too sweet! But maybe some of the other flavours were better?
