What Theo Morris doesn't like about Woodstock Arms.:
Try to be a formal gourmet restaurant, but improve in all areas. Too bad it could be so much better in a beautiful hotel and, in our opinion, perhaps too much to strive if it is not needed. Could (should) be a nice cozy restaurant, with a better menu (so limited we canceled 2 more bookings) We had much better food, service, value for money and certainly ambience in various other restaurants in Woodstock. We were very much looking forward to our Christmas lunch and were rather disappointed in the quality of the food which was just ok.
Wow! Went to Woodstock to visit Blenheim Palace and afterward ask the kind lady working in the post office if she could recommend somewhere to have tea.
Excellent menu prompt service and family friendly. Our belly pork was amazing, we had linguini and our son had sausages and mash.

The location is fantastic, the food is great, and the staff is lovely.
