Contribute FeedbackWe came here as a school visit. They gave us a tour with free coffe and a meal for 250 pesos each. The guide knew a lot and took her job seriously. The tour was very informative and walking around the crops was nice. The food was Mexican type cazuelas) and was good. The tour included a coffe profesional testing see photo).
A few days ago I stopped in at El Cafe Tal for breakfast and was delighted by the food and the atmosphere. It 's name is a play on the word cafetal (a coffee grove), and this restaurant features wonderful coffee from nearby Coatepec. It 's located in a gracious old house with various small dining rooms on two levels surrounding a lushly landscaped patio. The breakfast is very, very reasonable and includes a fresh fruit plate, pan dulce, and a hot dish of enchiladas or eggs or chilaquiles, and, of course, a cup of coffee. Lots of college students hang out here. I know you will like this place. Much nicer than the restaurants on Callejon del Diamante. It 's just a few blocks from the Parque Juarez on a very interesting street.
