Contribute FeedbackEleonore's restaurant at Chateau Yering offers a dining experience that has received mixed reviews from its patrons. Some diners have found the tasting menu to be overpriced and the service lacking, while others have praised the impeccable service and sensational food. The restaurant has been criticized for lacking ambiance, but has also been commended for its elegant atmosphere and good service. With a menu that showcases local produce and an extensive wine list, Eleonore's offers a culinary experience that may not be for everyone, but has left some diners very impressed.
A long time ago, and yes the time changes everything. we had the tasting menu that is very expensive for what it is. no sign court and no one I could recommend to the friends, the service was far down for what. You would expect from a fine dining place and the waiters look like they were just coming from cleaning the stall. Never before I found dirty old work boots like that. eating was not worth definitiw and although otherwise not friendly to the palette. the entire wobble soup was nothing but a failed science experiment, and it went quite a lot down there. the last ball was that we were charged for a coffee. strong they hit the menu change and make it considerably worth money and taste or go down a few ks down the road that has a much more worthy culinary experience.
Elegant ambiente and good service. the meal was excellent next to the fish that was a little over boiled. the steaktare was well presented and the juzuperles were an interesting additional taste.
What a great setup. Unfortunately, the place was empty when we visited. we started our evening with drinks in the salon and then moved into the dining room. we decided to take 3 courses and they did not disappoint. our waitress was appropriate in. discussion, but not intrusive. we didn't feel too fast. so many great places to eat in the opposite, but I would recommend eleonore for a special evening.
We enjoyed a three course dinner here at Eleonore's restaurant. The meal was beautifully presented and cooked. The mushrooms scallops were excellent as an entree. The snapper was cooked just right and the pannacotta with lime a lovely way to finish. Service was very good...and the dining room here has gorgeous views over the gardens.
I don't know how this place has a hat?!? Service and food certainly aren't up to standard and it's an insult to all other 1 hat venues. The restaurant at yering station just across the lawn has epic food and they don't even have one....Restaurant lacks any ambience. Good place to go and have a nap maybe but definitely not a nice, romantic, fun or interesting meal.
