Friendly welcoming and attentive staff. Great afternoon tea for my 8yr olds 1st experience. The Snowman afternoon tea is lovely and a great theme for festive time of the year. View all feedback.
Lovely place to be in. Wonderful service crew. And importantly excellent food of flavour.
Whilst Café Rouge may not be the finest dining restaurant, the York one is set in such a nice location. The food is okay but the service and atmosphere is always excellent.
Café Rouge at 52 Low Petergate not only offers delicious food but also boasts a beautiful street-front facade that shines brightly at night through its large windows. My man and I visited at different meal times and I opted for coffee and a snack while he enjoyed the hearty boeuf bourguignon, which was filled with tender meat and fresh beans. While there may be better boeuf bourguignon in higher-end restaurants, the price and ambiance at Café Rouge on Low Petergate cannot be beaten. Despite being part of a chain, this location has a unique charm that is easy to forget. Additionally, there is a charming and cozy dining room in the back. Café Rouge can be found at 52 Low Petergate, York, YO1 7HZ, and can be reached at 44 1904 673293.
I had a reservation for afternoon tea at this lovely restaurant with a tranquil atmosphere. Even though I arrived early, I was seated without any issues. The staff members were polite and welcoming, and despite the busy environment, the food was promptly served. The afternoon tea was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a great experience and would definitely try another dish from the menu if I find myself in York again.
We liked the breakfast here. the fruit pancakes and French croissant were all good. it is fresh and tastes good. but the latte was so.
