Indulge in afternoon tea in the Tea Room with a variety of finger sandwiches, cakes, and savory treats, paired with loose teas or freshly ground coffee. The River Restaurant is a brasserie-style dining option available on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm, as well as for Sunday lunch from 12 noon.

The Walter Raleigh Hotel in Youghal offers a mixed experience. While the hotel itself has an old-world charm, the rooms may not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. Service at weddings and lunches is commendable, with friendly staff and delicious food. However, some guests have had disappointing encounters, particularly when trying to book a table or experiencing slow service. Overall, the hotel seems to have potential but may need a bit of improvement in certain areas to live up to its full promise as a truly delightful destination in Youghal.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff told that we had been upgraded to the bridal sweet on arrival which was a lovely gesture from the manager Michael Brett. Breakfast and dinner were both top class with plenty to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay would highly recommend The Sir Walter Raleigh hotel for for anyone visiting Youghal.

We had an absolutely fabulous 1 week stay at the Walter Raleigh Hotel. The staff were really friendly and the food in the Hotel restaurant was absolutely first class. Would really recommend the hotel to anyone considering a stay in East Cork

It was fathers day, arrived in Youghal @12ish, rang Walter Raleigh asked for booking for 5, said yes either 12.30 or 1 as very busy day, we took 12.30, absolutely excellent waiters food was amazing, hotel is spotless employees so friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Attempted to book table for dinner. Man on the phone was awfully rude and unprofessional. Mocking me the whole time. Is a shame because I have only heard great things about all of the staff, Pity that this will be my final experience with a lovely hotel and restaurant.
