We had a lovely experience here! The rooms are basic, but very comfortable (we stayed in the double with shared bathroom). There are shared toilets and shower on each floor, quite clean and nice water pressure. For hikers this hotel will seem quite luxurious, for those used to hotels only it’s got the flavor of a mountain hut while still having all amenities to keep you comfortable. What Philip Junker doesn't like about Schwarzsee:
Stayed here in April for skiing. Awesome location and a stunning view. That's about it regarding the positive sides. The 6 bed dormitory was incredibly small and located in the basement right next to the laundry room and the staff's bedroom (yes, the single shower was shared with staff members as well). The food was average. The drinks were pretty expensive (5CHF for tea). View all feedback.
