Very good food at fair prices (by Zurich standards). Nice staff and nice atmosphere. They just need to urgently replace the broken glass window. This leaves an unpleasant, shabby impression. But I will definitely come back. View all feedback.
What Isabel Zwahlen doesn't like about Ah Hua:
I had lunch here a few times over the last few years. I liked this restaurant initially, but the food quality has been clearly decreasing. On my most recent visit, I got a beef dish with the really hard and bad-quality meat, and the taste of the dish reminded me of cheap take out food. Considering that the prices here are not low and almost comparable to those at some fine dining restaurants in Zurich, that is really... View all feedback.
We entered the restaurant around 7 p.m. today. Although not all tables were occupied, we were ignored by the service (4 people in total) for five minutes. After we spoke to a waitress, she told us that we had to wait a long time for the food and that it would be better if we left. That's no way to treat customers. They could have kindly told us at the beginning that they shouldn't serve any more guests and not just ignore us. The food on the tables looked appealing.
Pad Thai Wun Sen with shrimps was very tasty and tasted authentic.
Ideal for lunch. A huge selection. The menu with lots of pictures of every dish is practical and not even as intimidating as photos of food usually seem to me. The food was great and quite cheap by the way. Service very pragmatic. The room, the ambience seemed clean and tidy, almost a little too cold. Suitable for impeccable catering, less a cozy place to be ensnared by Asian culture.
Real and authentic Thai Food at reasonable prices, quite outstanding for Zurich! They have 3 seatings per evening and the place is always packed make reservations! Service and kitchen is quick, quality great!
I came here alone and had a tom yam soup without meat, a tofu-vegetable-cashew stirfry with rice and some jasmine tea. The tom yam had real depth of flavour and loads of vegetables, and would make a light lunch on its own (it was priced...accordingly, but I was hungry). The stirfry was less standout, mild and sweet but quite tasty. Tea was in a real teapot, a refreshing change from some places which give you a teabag and a cup of lukewarm water. Service was good and efficient, ambience is brisk and pleasant.
