A small but nice restaurant with freshly prepared food that tastes really good. The staff is very attentive and you are always asked if you have anything else you would like. I can only recommend it. View all feedback.
What Magdalene Voss doesn't like about PLOY THAI RESTAURANT HONGBIN:
we talked to the family here and we had a demal. we had the 3 curs menu each. the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with “normal Thai” decoration. they have parking places that are always a plus. the service was in order and there was only 1 server....It was pretty busy for a Sunday. eating took some time, but we understood. eating was not so special or bad. I won't be back, but that's because I know other T... View all feedback.
The person who delivered was super friendly. but on the afternoon, with 3h preorder, is simply a problem with short lunch breaks a delay of 20 minutes.
It was so sharp that it was unthinkable. the padthai was okay.
As always....very fine eating .and a very nice cure ....thanks
Takes too long before lunch. Portions rather small.
We ate here because of the good reviews and a voucher. The good first: The service was very accommodating and friendly, thank you for the hot extra sauce we received. To eat: The satai skewers were quite ok and we were prepared for a cozy, authentic Thai evening. But then the green curry came and it was anything but authentic. The vegetable bouquet consisted of a ready-to-cut, rustic vegetable mix from the freezer. The ready-made mixture was “refined” with 1-2 threads of lemongrass and 2 gutted, not at all spicy chilies (we ordered sheep 4 out of 4). The vegetables, or rather the entire dish, were seasoned with so much sugar that we had to leave the vegetables behind and just picked out the meat. Components such as Thai eggplant or Thai peas (pea eggplant) were completely missing. Instead, zucchini, carrots and beans en masse. Ventilation Conclusion: Unfortunately, as in many small restaurants, the ventilation in the kitchen was virtually non-existent, so we are now sitting at home, smelling like freshly fried food and still have a sugar coating in our mouths. We are slightly disturbed by the visit to the restaurant and seriously ask where exactly were the people in Thailand who reported authentic Thai food in this restaurant in their experiences reviews?
