We went to the deli for lunch. I was keen on the Ruben, but one look at the menu changed my mind. I went with the classic Ploughman’s lunch. Whilst it said it was a shared platter, for my daughter and I, it was HUGE. Great lumps of excellent cheddar, a bowl of chutney and really good bread. Walked in at 4pm to be rudely spoken to by the only member of staff, to be told we shut shortly. They shut at 5pm. And the coffee machine was turned off and we were able to have a cold drink. I'm disgusted to be treated like this, the staff member was stood doing nothing clearly wanted to go home early. Advise all to avoid, several other cafe's in the village with much better service read more.
