"My family and I came here for Sunday lunch on the 16/10/22. I had heard good things about the Roast so my expectations were quite high before arriving and my expectations were certainly met! Firstly, we had a lovely Man by the name of Mark...take our orders, he was very friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Secondly, the dinner was absolutely stunning . I chose the Beef which literally melted in my mouth, accompanied by well seasoned veg and beautiful gravy. All of our meals were well enjoyed and all our plates clean. We then finished with desserts which were equally lovely. I opted for the Snickers cheesecake which was really nice and also tried my sister in laws pistachio bread and butter pudding which was also stunning! My only complaint is that I wished for a chocolate cake/brownie to complete my meal but Was nevertheless pleasantly surprised by the dessert I chose. I would definitely return again and hope to have the same smiley waiter again who, even though the restaurant was busy, still had enough time for us Thanks Mark!"

"Large selection menu so not only for gay friends! the lunch here before a gig and the staff were very slow to our time, although they were very busy. excellent service and would be back but on the expensive side so likely to be reserved for special occasions."

"We visited last night before a show , we pre booked a table and was told to wait a few moments as it wasn’t ready in the mean time my partner asked who I assume was the manager an older blonde lady) how the gluten free items are prepared as I have coeliac disease and she was very dismissive and rude. Our waitress on the other hand I think her name was Rachel was fantastic if it wasn’t for her I would of turned around and walked out as no one else wanted to provide a proper service and I feel as if no one else took my dietary needs seriously. When my food was brought out by two other members of staff I asked if it was my gluten free meal and they looked at me blank and pointed to mine and my partners meal my partners burger was definitely not gluten free) Rachel checked with the chef for me to confirm, again if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t of felt comfortable to eat. The food was nice but because of the awful service I won’t return."
