came with the family and we were hunting our steam roll on Easter Sunday and we were as good as we were over 20! the eating was good and so good inexpensive, where could they have a prawn cocktail for £3.25 and a steak pudding that was huge and full of big steak and niere for £8.95! but the homemade chips and the strawberry and rhabarb crumb wore! will be good again to find a good honest 'local' pub in these days: View all feedback.
What OldBear doesn't like about The Black Bull:
After a walk in the local countryside we visited the Black Bull Pub and were greeted by the manager. I enjoyed a couple of pints of Spitting Feathers, but the hot beef and onion sandwich was rather boring, pre-sliced beef which looked out of a packet and a few onions on sliced bread didn’t look anything special even with a side of homemade chips.
