I phoned on a Saturday evening on the off-chance that they had a table available.... they did, but the kitchen closed in 20 minutes from my call (at 8pm). On arrival, the staff were most welcoming and accommodating. We both had fish and chips, which was excellent, followed by a Basque burnt cheesecake with rhubarb compote. The beer 'Foxy Blonde ' now called 'Blonde ' was a completely different colour to how I remember it. Is it 'Amber ', is it 'Dark Horse ' it is NOT Blonde, but is described as Blonde. The brewery owner owes the pub does he not know? View all feedback.
