The Yardarm Restaurant - INDIAN HARBOUR

We wanted to love this place but cannot.The lobster sliders were good (as sides we had both salad and fries; both good) and a cheeseburger which was good too. Not the best ever but certainly ok.But, and this is a huge but, we found not one but two hairs in our food. Given the color, there is no way they came from us :(

Happen to pull in because our usual restaurant was busy. Glad we did! Yummy chowder and fries! Everyone enjoyed their order.The place was clean and fresh. The waitress and cook were warm and welcoming. They need a bit more landscaping in front of the property so it's a bit more appealing and noticeable, that's all. Will go back.

After a lovely day touring the area we stopped in for dinner at The Yardarm and were treated to an amazing meal To start things off our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. I am sorry I forgot your name but you deserve the recognition for making our meal enjoyable. We tried the fish and chips, the pulled pork and the cheeseburger between the three of us. First the fish was so tender and tasty with a light dusting of batter on it. This is by far the best fish I have ever tasted. It was light, flavourful and needed no added condiments. My wife had the pulled pork which she really enjoyed and the addition of the homemade appleslaw is highly recommended. Our friend had the cheeseburger which she found delicious and juicy. The bacon apple jam really set it apart. I highly recommend a trip to the Yardarm if you are anywhere near Peggy's Cove. You definitely will love the experience and the care that the Chef puts into her creations. We will be back for sure the next time we are in Nova Scotia.

Found this great little restaurant by chance and absolutely recommend it!We ordered two delicious entrees which were presented so beautifully!They tasted amazing as the ingredients were so fresh!The service was fantastic friendly and fast...we really were so impressed that we came back for a second meal in the evening and were once again delighted.Super service delicious cuisine all offered in an unpretentious atmosphere...do have a glass of wine and linger over dessert ...you wont be disappointed!!!

We recently visited the area and thought we would stop in. We arrived at 740 and they closed at 8 but that didn't stop them from welcoming us in. I ordered the 2 piece fish and chips it was so fresh and fantastic. The hospitality of the owner/chef and her waitress was fantastic. Thank you for a great meal!
