Riverbank General Store - MILL VILLAGE

What a delightful spot to eat lunch. What an imaginative and scrumptious menu. Something for everyone. I tried the Berry Burst Salad for the first time. Absolutely delicious. Easy-going but professional service with a smile. Fresh and clean ambiance with local art. Inspiring outlook over the Medway River. What else could you wish for? Always check ahead for opening hours to avoid disappointment.

The food and service were excellent and when you shop there, you suppport Special Olympics an Special Olympians who work there.

The options in terms of food are limited, but that's good. What is available can be counted on to be well made and flavourful. And such a cozy feeling to sit and watch the river churn by just outside your window. A nice choice of local crafts are on display. Also good quality local produce for purchase.

Love this little spot. I have only been at the store since December but a few visits, and have shopped at the store, and gift shop, and had a coffee while I browsed. Friendly service. The restaurant has not opened yet for the 2016 season, I'm looking forward to it since the locals have told me it is lovely.

My wife and I were tipped off to try this lovely country cafe/historic general store for lunch and it was a special treat indeed. Sereen setting on the Medway River bank. Eat inside or out beside the river. Lunch was delicious, the prices very reasonable and the service friendly, interested and prompt. Our quiet walk with the dog around the village after lunch checking out the beautiful old houses and gardens was interesting and relaxing. A very short drive up the river from Hwy. 103 Exit 17A. Do yourself a favour, don't miss this little gem.
